As early as 1989, Mid-City Plating has "gone the extra mile" to render our waste non-hazardous to the environment. Every Shipment of waste is certified non-hazardous. In 1993 Mid-City was presented an Environmental Achievment Award by the Muncie-Delaware Chamber of Commerce and the Bureau of Water Quality. This award was in recognation of our "Outstanding Commitment to a Safe and Healthy Environmental Climate Through Water Pollution Control."
